Fall is here, bringing cooler weather, changing colors, and ski season is right around the corner. We have witnessed a noticeable shift in our local market over the course of the last few months. Inventory has grown, days on market are increasing, and yet by most metrics, sold prices continue to rise. Buyers are empowered with more choices and have gained negotiating leverage. Motivated sellers are steering away from aspirational pricing. It remains evident that overall sales volume in most segments of our valley continues to grow, which we can attribute to the rise in average sales prices. We are still witnessing record-breaking sales valley-wide for premier properties.


All of these varied nuances in our marketplace emphasize the importance of being guided by an experienced and knowledgeable agent.
